The host’s business plan should allow for change

The scenario below is illustrative. It explains our approach; it is not a customer testimonial or a report of a completed case.
Hosting involves choices about time, service and the way a property is used. I want owners to make those choices with a realistic view of the responsibilities and the changing policy environment, rather than an assumption that today's process will never evolve.
A moment in the moving journey
Imagine an owner deciding how much support to use. A useful discussion includes who will handle enquiries, preparation, guest questions and ongoing checks. Income expectations also need independent consideration; neither an attractive listing nor a software tool guarantees a financial result.
How our property portal helps
Our property portal provides host and booking tools that can support an agreed service. The team should explain the actual features and responsibilities involved. Preparation for future registration is a separate question from whether a particular management arrangement meets the owner's needs.

The people behind the process
As MD, I want innovation to make the service more understandable. We should be able to explain the handovers behind a booking and identify where an owner needs specialist advice. A plan is stronger when the responsibilities are visible.
Your next step
Before choosing a hosting approach, tell us which tasks you want to manage yourself and which you want help with. We can discuss a practical process around those objectives and the property.
