The host’s paperwork should tell a coherent story
By Nick Devonport, Managing Director · England · Reviewed 26 October 2026
The scenario below is illustrative. It explains our approach; it is not a customer testimonial or a report of a completed case.
A host can have plenty of documents and still be unsure what they demonstrate. I want our team to help organise the evidence so the next question is clear, rather than treating a full folder as a complete answer.
A moment in the moving journey
Imagine an owner finding an insurance schedule, an old inspection report and a lease with several attachments. Each may be relevant, but the dates, scope and actual property need checking. The team should identify the question that belongs with the insurer, adviser or competent person.
How our property portal helps
Our property portal includes document storage and a host journey. Those tools can support preparation and controlled sharing. They do not interpret every policy condition or confirm that an older report remains sufficient for the current use. A person needs to review the context.

The people behind the process
Good teamwork connects the owner supplying information with the colleague preparing the listing and the people responsible for operations. A gap should stay visible until it has been properly addressed. That is a more useful habit than filling the space with a reassuring assumption.
Your next step
Before launching a stay, gather the records you have and tell us what has changed since they were issued. We can help identify the checks and conversations needed to make the preparation more coherent.
