When selling and renting meet in the same move

The scenario below is illustrative. It explains our approach; it is not a customer testimonial or a report of a completed case.
Some moving journeys do not fit neatly into one department. A customer may sell a home, rent temporarily and buy again later. I want our team to understand the whole objective before discussing individual transactions.
A moment in the moving journey
Imagine a seller hoping to rent between homes. It would be unhelpful to assume their tenancy can simply end on the completion date of a future purchase. The letting agreement, notice requirements and the legal progress of the purchase need separate attention.
How our property portal helps
Our property portal supports different customer journeys. With the relevant features enabled and relationships verified, those journeys can help the team keep the customer's wider plans in view. They should not blur the distinct rights, documents and responsibilities attached to each arrangement.
The people behind the process
Sales and lettings colleagues need a shared understanding of the customer's priorities, while each gives accurate guidance within their role. A conveyancer may advise on the purchase timetable; the letting team can explain the tenancy process. Coordination helps the customer understand the choices without promising that all dates will align.
Your next step
If your plan includes a temporary rental, tell us early. We can help you identify the questions about budget, notice and timing that deserve attention before you commit to arrangements.
Sales portal journeys described here depend on Sales being enabled on the website. Ask the team which services and tools are available for your move.
